The Scarifier is the perfect tool for the preparation of drywall surfaces. The 3" long tines easily scratch the plaster undercoat to help promote a good bond with the finish coat. The scarifier itself is made from a lightweight yet sturdy flexible steel that is fitted to a non-corrosive aluminium backer plate with a comfy grip handle for improved user comfort.
