ceramic tiles. The red plastic cap can also be used to compact and finish
off grout in-between tile joints.

1) Mark the surface of the tile with a Bright Ideas China Pencil where the cut will be made. Using a straight edge and the Bright Ideas Tile Scriber, proceed to score the surface of the tile with the carbide tip.

2) After scoring the tile place a matchstick or something similar of nature
beneath the score mark before applying even pressure on the edges of
the tile to break it.

3) After all tiles have been applied to the surface, grout over all of the tiles
using a Bright Ideas Grout Float, ensuring the grout is worked into the
joints.

4) Once the tiles have been grouted, use the red plastic cap of the Tile
Scriber to compact the grout leaving a professional looking finish.
