The Bright Ideas Co (UK) Ltd have a wide variety of Notch Trowels. Primarily used for fixing regular sized tiles onto internal and external walls in both dry and wet areas. It is aso recommended that a notch depth 2/3 the size of the tile is used.
- A carbon steel, wooden handle gauging trowel used for measuring out
adhesives and grout. Can also be used for compacting and smoothing
grout in-between joints of wall and floor tiles.

The example shown above displays a
gauging trowel being used to compact
grout in-between stone floor tiles. The
trowel can also be used to smooth out the
grout after it has been inserted into the
joints. Any spillages can easily be
cleaned up afterwards with a sponge.
