The Bright Ideas Co (UK) Ltd have a wide variety of Notch Trowels. Primarily used for fixing regular sized tiles onto internal and external walls in both dry and wet areas. It is aso recommended that a notch depth 2/3 the size of the tile is used.

packing mortar into joints in-between bricks.
As seen in the image above, it can be used
alongside a float or hawk to be pushed into
the joints and smoothed out.
